This 2460 cm³ inline five engine was the first TDI in 1989, used in the Audi 100

output
85 kW (115 hp), 265 N·m @ 1900 rpm in the Audi 100 C3
103 kW (140 hp), 290 N·m @ 1900 rpm in the 1994 Audi 100 C4
110 kW (150 hp) at 4000 rpm, 295 N·m at 1900 rpm VW T4
